CAMMAC presents a Wind and Brass Workshop


Saturday, April 25, 2009 1:30-4 p.m. ., CAMMAC, Canadian Amateur Musicians-Musiciens Amateurs du Canada will present Fran Harvey, Music and Education degrees from the University of Toronto. At the University of Toronto, she studied trumpet with Larry Weeks, James Spragg, Stephen Chennette, Robert Nagel and Armando Ghitalla and conducting with Victor Feldbrill, Stephen Chennette and Diana Brault.


The Winds and Brass Workshop will help players focus on sight-reading and performance skills. The workshop will focus on key performance skills such as dynamics, articulation, balance and blend, in an engaging hands-on learning experience. Tips and tools for great playing will be discussed and worked on through a variety of original works and arrangements for band. The Wind Band workshop welcomes all woodwind, brass and percussion players.


Fee: Non-members $20. Group fee: member rate (note, qualify 5 or more from the same group must apply: use separate forms please). Registration deadline: April 20, 2009.

CAMMAC presents a Wind and Brass Workshop


Saturday, April 25, 2009 1:30-4 p.m. ., CAMMAC, Canadian Amateur Musicians-Musiciens Amateurs du Canada will present Fran Harvey, Music and Education degrees from the University of Toronto. At the University of Toronto, she studied trumpet with Larry Weeks, James Spragg, Stephen Chennette, Robert Nagel and Armando Ghitalla and conducting with Victor Feldbrill, Stephen Chennette and Diana Brault. The workshop will be held at Northern District Library, 40 Orchard View Boulevard. ( 1 block north of Eglinton and Yonge).
