The
58th Annual Holtz Children’Äôs Hospital Beaux Arts Festival of Art will come to life on the beautiful grounds of the University of Miami Coral Gables campus this January. Beaux Arts Festival of Art is thrilled to be Miami's oldest juried fine art show, featuring more than 225 artists from across the country. Patrons can enjoy and purchase original art from top quality artists; the eleven mediums of artwork displayed include ceramics, fiber, glass graphics and drawing, jewelry, mixed media, oil and acrylics, photography, sculpture and 3D, watercolor and wood.

This family-friendly Festival provides entertainment for all ages, food of many cultures, and a hands-on Art Park for children five to twelve years old, where children can create their own masterpieces while their parents browse the Festival.

The Festival is aligned with a Student Artist Showcase, a program which allows talented middle and high school student artists the opportunity to compete for top recognition. Because the Festival is run entirely by dedicated volunteers, the money raised is used to provide museum field trips to underprivileged elementary school students as well as to enhance and maintain the collections of, and to assist with expansion of, the Lowe Art Museum.

About Beaux Arts

Beaux Arts of the Lowe Art Museum is an organization that is exclusively educational and charitable. Founded in the spring of 1952, Beaux Arts, Inc. continues to offer outreach programs at the Lowe Art Museum through multiple events and exhibits. The organization introduces children to the cultural arts, through its year-round art class offerings. Additionally, Beaux Arts volunteers continue to expand our Hands On! program, which, for more than 20 years, has enabled area fourth and fifth-grade students from underserved schools in Miami-Dade county to visit the Lowe Art Museum, receive a docent-guided tour, and create art projects to bring back with them from a full day at the museum. Beaux Arts, Inc. also focuses on encouraging community-wide knowledge and appreciation of the Arts. Holiday Tables is in its 17th year, and showcases the art of decorating through unique table displays that are set up throughout the Lowe Art Museum. A cocktail party on March 20th will take place followed by two days that are open to the public. Funds raised from the cocktail party and general admission sales will go to Beaux Arts of the Lowe Art Museum.
