Stingray Digital adds EMI Music Canada catalogue to new Galaxie Music Videos on Demand service

MONTREAL, December 3, 2009 ’Äì Stingray Digital, a Montreal-based company with strong growth in the international digital media sector, announced today a multi-year, multi-platform agreement with EMI Music Canada to add the label’Äôs music video content to the Galaxie Music Videos on Demand service. The Galaxie Music Videos on Demand (MVOD) service was launched on Rogers Digital Cable in September this year and will be soon offered by other television service providers.

This new service from Stingray Digital, the first of its kind in Canada, allows viewers to select their choice of music videos, or select and watch professionally-programmed music video playlists. In the US, the equivalent music videos on demand service is the number one VOD service by monthly views across all categories.
