JILL BARBER RETURNS HOME TO CANADA WITH NEW 2009 TOUR DATES!

Toronto, ON – Fresh off an Australian tour, Canadian songstress Jill Barber is returning to her Canadian fans, touring across Ontario and Quebec in support of her critically acclaimed release Chances (Outside Music). "Barber wholeheartedly carries on from where the golden age of music left off," states the Coast. "She's a modern-day Billie Holiday with the soul of Edith Piaf (minus the French). Don't be surprised when this album is hailed as a Canadian classic."

After an exceptionally exciting 2008, including 2 Juno nominations for her previous album For All Time (which was nominated for over 20 industry awards) and touring Canada and Australia with great success, Barber has been praised once again by the Canadian music community for Chances with 4 East Coast Music Awards nominations in the following categories:
