SOLD OUT... ALMOST!

If you were planning to attend the spectacular events of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra's NEW CREATIONS FESTIVAL, complete with acrobats, intermission chats with composers, and post-concert parties with live music, you are almost too late! Oiseaux exotiques on Wednesday, April 9, has VERY LIMITED AVAILABILITY and the following concert, Keyboard Innovation, on Saturday, April 12, is SOLD OUT!

With one week to go before the Festival begins, limited tickets are also still available for the final two concerts on April 16 and 17. The Festival finale will include Messiaen's TurangalˆÆla Symphony and Jacques Hˆ©tu's Concerto for Organ and Orchestra, featuring Olivier Latry, organist from the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris. Don't hesitate, or you will have to wait for next year's festival!

Maestro Oundjian and the Toronto Symphony Orchestra established the NEW CREATIONS FESTIVAL in 2005, soon after the conductor's arrival at the helm of his hometown orchestra. The 4th Annual NEW CREATIONS FESTIVAL celebrates the centennial of Olivier Messiaen (1908-92) by presenting several of the vibrant French composer's works alongside world and Canadian premiˆ®res by living composers who continue to be inspired by Messiaen's work.
