Hello Darlin' et St-Ambroise prsente: Festival Folk sur le Canal!

Hello Darlin' Productions, Le Centre St-Ambroise et Hyperbole Music sont fiers d'annoncer la tenue du premier Festival Folk sur le Canal le 21 juin prochain. Cette journe toute spciale aura lieu la Terrasse St-Ambroise, situe juste derrire la Brasserie St-Ambroise (5080 rue St-Ambroise) le long du clbre Canal de Lachine. Le Festival Folk sur le Canal prsentera plusieurs des artistes les plus intressants de la scne folk, roots et bluegrass de Montral: Rob Lutes, Annabelle Chvostek, Notre Dame de Grass, United Steel Workers of Montreal, Caloon Saloon, Lake of Stew, Maica et The Suitors. De plus, la scne qubcoise et canadienne ne sera pas en reste avec la prsence de Perhaps Because (Qubec), Scott Normandy (Niagara Falls) et The Good Lovelies (Toronto).

En plus des festivits extrieures sur la scne principale, les prfrs du Centre St-Ambroise, Charlotte Cornfield et James Finnerty, se produiront sur la scne Talents mergents situe l'intrieur du Centre St-Ambroise.

Les billets sont en vente au cot de 20$ pour la journe complte (entre gratuite pour les enfants de 12 ans et moins). En commandant vos billets maintenant, vous recevrez une carte-cadeau vous permettant de tlcharger gratuitement une chanson de chaque artiste en prestation cette anne au festival. Les billets peuvent tre achets au Centre St-Ambroise ou auprs des artistes participant au festival.

Inaugural Folk Music Festival to take place at the St-Ambroise Terrace on June 21st

Hello Darlin' Productions, The Centre St-Ambroise and Hyperbole Music have partnered to present the first annual Folk Festival on the Canal. Slated for June 21st, this special one-day music event will take place at the St-Ambroise Terrace, located behind the McAuslan Brewery (5080 St-Ambroise Street) along the historic Lachine Canal. The Folk Festival on the Canal will showcase some of the top names in Montral folk, roots and bluegrass music, namely Rob Lutes, Annabelle Chvostek, Notre Dame de Grass, United Steel Workers of Montreal, Caloon Saloon, Lake of Stew, Maica and the Suitors, and Perhaps Because, as well as Niagara region's Scott Normandy and Toronto's The Good Lovelies.

In addition to the outdoor festivities on the main stage, an Emerging Artists stage located inside the centre will feature Centre St-Ambroise folk music favourites, including Charlotte Cornfield and James Finnerty.

Tickets are set at $20 for the full day (children aged 12 and under are admitted free). Order your tickets today for a special drop card entitling you to receive one free downloadable song from each of this year's main stage artists. Tickets can be purchased through the Centre St-Ambroise or from the artists performing at the Festival.

For a great day of music, BBQ food and, of course, McAuslan Brewing's award-winning beer, don't miss the Folk Festival on the Canal, which will no doubt prove to be a folk music highlight in Montral this year!
