A friend has introduced me to another exceptional (and all but unknown) song cycle: Milhaud's "Alissa". The singer, Lise Arsˆ©guet, may be even less familiar, but I hope you find the songs and the singer extraordinary as I do.

The video selection is also in French: Chris Merritt singing "Pour mon ˆ¢me" at the 1991 Richard Tucker concert.
