INFO FOR MUSIC FESTIVAL ORGANIZERS

OUR CRITERION: A festival is considered a music festival if all its events are musical or if it has more than 5 concerts. Any festival not meeting that criterion and wishing to be included in the festival calendar may fill our online questionnaire and must submit its listings; we will decide if we put your festival in our festival calendar; if we don't, your events will at least go in the Regional Calendar if they are classical and Canadian.

Here is the 2004 festival calendar as an example.PDF file

In order for your festival to be included in the Summer Music Festivals Calendar, you must follow these 2 steps:

1 - Fill our online festival questionnaire for your festival (one questionnaire per festival). When you submit it, you will automatically receive a confirmation email sent to the email address mentioned in your answers. The deadline is the same as above, and the late fee is $20 per festival.

2 - Send us your concert listings, following our instructions in our online calendar guide. One email per festival. Write to festivals@scena.org

INFO FOR OTHER PEOPLE

Only festival organizers may submit info for festivals. Orchestras and performers who have a concert during a music festival should let the festival send us the listings, so as to avoid duplicate and incomplete information. Feel free to forward this email to them, especially if they are a new festival or if they changed their email address in the last year. Make sure they have complete information about your event.

If your event is during another kind of festival (for example, theatre festival, regional festival, multicultural festival), or if your event is not in a festival, you can send us your listing info as usual. See instructions in our online calendar guide. Make sure nobody else will send us info about the same event. These listings will appear in the Regional Calendar of La Scena Musicale.

Do not write to festivals@scena.org. See the online calendar guide for the appropriate email addresses.
