The VSO Presents the legendary Frederica von Stade and Samuel Ramey together for the first time in Vancouver









Recognized as one of the most beloved musical figures of our time, the great mezzo-soprano Frederica von Stade (affectionately known as ’ÄòFlicka’Äô worldwide to her friends, family and legions of fans) makes her VSO debut teamed up with Samuel Ramey, the world’Äôs foremost operatic bass-baritone. In a concert for the ages, these two extraordinary artists at the peak of their careers perform music by Berlioz, Boito, Offenbach, Copland and Gershwin. Maestro Bramwell Tovey conducts.
