New Brunswick Summer Music Festival celebrates 20 years

Traditionally, the New Brunswick Summer Music Festival bases its program around one very famous and one lesser-known composer. For their 20th anniversary, the festival is seeking public input to create a program of “Festival hits” for each of its four main concerts over the last four evenings. Other celebratory events are planned to commemorate the festival’s milestone, including a fundraiser August 20 with pianist Peter Allen tackling Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No. 29, the “Hammerklavier.” Fredericton, August 12-24. nbsummermusicfestival.ca
