Edmonton Opera 10-11: Paris - Rome - Barrhead

Edmonton is a city that inspires opera, and, in celebration of this, Edmonton Opera launches a season to delight and thrill Edmontonians in 2010-2011. The mystery and romance of Paris come alive with Puccini’Äôs La Bohˆ®me; sharp silliness abounds with shipwrecks, sultans and stranded sopranos in Mozart’Äôs Abduction from the Seraglio; love and revenge mingle with power and beauty in Puccini’Äôs Tosca; and Rossini is revised and relocated to the Alberta Klondike with Barber of Barrhead.
