Edmonton, AB ’Ķ Your Edmonton Symphony Orchestra (ESO) is thrilled to bring back, by popular demand, an astounding, jaw-dropping, high-wire production to the Francis Winspear Centre for Music for its 2010-2011 season fundraising Gala. On Tuesday, October 5^th, daredevil artist-athletes will demonstrate their astonishing talents as Music Director William Eddins conducts the orchestra through a dynamic program of classical and contemporary music.

Having performed to three sold-out houses during the ESO’Äôs 2008-2009 performance season, fresh faces join your favourite Cirque stars for an astounding performance with a new twist. Cirque de la Symphonie has promised a truly spectacular evening, unlike anything they have previously produced in North America. Their amazing troupe of aerial flyers, contortionists, jugglers, and balancers, will demonstrate astounding feats of artistry and strength both on and above the stage with their choreographed routines to memorable pieces by Bach, Bizet, Tchaikovsky, Saint-Saˆ´ns, and more.

ESO subscribers may purchase tickets to our Gala beginning Tuesday, March 9^th (in person or by phone only). Gala tickets will be available to the public beginning Tuesday, May 11^th. Sampler Pass vouchers cannot be redeemed for tickets to this event.
