Montreal, October 27, 2009 Analekta is proud to announce that it has received 4 Flix at the ADISQ Galas, held yesterday in Montreal, including "Website of the year". This brand new site, more convivial, has been entirely designed and programmed by the dynamic team at Motion in Design. Aiming to become the meeting ground for classical music lovers, the Website grants the possibility of accessing and listening to the complete catalogue in streaming. It also includes exclusive videos, the downloadable Analekta Radio and a blog. A forerunner in its domain, Analekta will soon initiate new and important developments that, without a doubt, will maintain analekta.com at the avant-garde of the Canadian musical industry.
Angle Dubeau & La Piet were recognized in the category "Classical Album of the Year: Orchestra and Large Ensemble" for the recording of Philip Glass: Portrait, unanimously acclaimed by critics. In addition, this recording has been nominated in the "Sound Recording and Mixing Award" category for the outstanding work of Carl Talbot, the official producer at Analekta. This Flix is the eleventh won by Angle Dubeau for a recording on the Analekta label.
In the category "Album of the Year: Soloist and Small Ensemble", the first collaboration on disc of brothers Alain and David Lefvre, won a trophy. On this album, they performed sonatas by Csar Franck and Guillaume Lekeu and presented the first recording of Andr Mathieu's Ballade-fantaisie. This Flix is the sixth awarded to Alain Lefvre for his recordings.
Lorraine Desmarais Big Band, the tenth recording in the career of Lorraine Desmarais, and the first produced with a big band, has, moreover, been recognized in the category "Jazz Album of the Year Jazz Creation". Let's recall that two of the previous Lorraine Desmarais albums including Jazz for Christmas, on the Analekta label have previously won Flix.
The label had received 11 nominations in 7 categories. With these three new awards, ANALEKTA confirms the unique position it holds in the Canadian music market and maintains its standing as one of the most important recording houses in Canada, all categories taken together. ANALEKTA wants to salute the talent of the nominated artists and the excellence of their performances.

Ce nouveau site, plus convivial, a t entirement redessin et programm par la dynamique quipe de Motion in Design. Souhaitant devenir un vritable rendez-vous des amateurs de musique classique, le site Internet permet l'coute intgrale des titres du catalogue en diffusion continue (streaming) et comprend notamment des vidos exclusives, la Radio Analekta (tlchargeable) et un blogue. Analekta poursuivra sur cette lance avec de nouveaux dveloppements particulirement importants annoncs trs bientt, qui maintient analekta.com l'avant-garde de l'industrie musicale canadienne.
Philip Glass : Portrait, album d'Angle Dubeau & La Piet salu unanimement par la critique, a t rcompens dans la catgorie Album de l'anne Classique / Orchestre et grand ensemble . Notons que ce mme enregistrement tait nomm dans la catgorie Prise de son et mixage de l'anne , pour le remarquable travail de Carl Talbot, ralisateur attitr d'Analekta. Ce Flix est le onzime remport par un enregistrement d'Angle Dubeau sous tiquette Analekta.
Dans la catgorie Album de l'anne Classique / Soliste et petit ensemble , la premire collaboration au disque des frres Alain et David Lefvre a remport le trophe. Les musiciens interprtent ici les sonates de Csar Franck et de Guillaume Lekeu et prsentent un tout premier enregistrement de la Ballade-fantaisie d'Andr Mathieu. Ce Flix est le sixime rcompenser un enregistrement d'Alain Lefvre.

Rappelons que deux des albums prcdents de Lorraine Desmarais dont Jazz pour Nol sous tiquette Analekta ont remport des Flix au gala de l'ADISQ.
Rappelons que l'tiquette avait reu onze nominations dans sept catgories. Avec ces quatre nouveaux prix, ANALEKTA confirme la place unique qu'elle dtient sur le march canadien de la musique et s'affirme comme l'une des plus importantes maisons de disques canadienne, tous genres confondus.
